About the Role
Savannah Labs is seeking a talented and creative Toon Boom Animator to join our growing animation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Toon Boom Harmony, a strong understanding of animation principles, and a passion for creating engaging 2D animated content.
You will collaborate with storyboard artists, illustrators, and creative teams to bring characters, stories, and concepts to life through high-quality animation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D character and scene animations using Toon Boom Harmony.
- Transform concepts, scripts, and storyboards into engaging animated content.
- Animate characters with expressive movements, emotions, and lip-sync when required.
- Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and creative teams throughout the production process.
- Maintain consistency in animation style, quality, timing, and performance.
- Revise and refine animations based on feedback and project requirements.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Toon Boom Animator or 2D Animator.
- Strong proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony.
- Solid understanding of animation fundamentals, including timing, spacing, squash & stretch, anticipation, and character acting.
- Experience with character rigging and cut-out animation workflows is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on animated series, explainer videos, educational content, gaming assets, or digital media projects.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other animation and design tools.
- Understanding of animation production pipelines and industry best practices.
