Time: 9:30am to 7pm
Monthly two offs with prior intimation
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef to work full-time with a family of
four based in Santacruz, Mumbai. The chef will be responsible for preparing fresh,
nutritious, and high-quality meals daily. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Asian, Indian and Continental cuisines, along with multicuisine strong knowledge of healthy cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare daily meals: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.
- Design weekly menus based on the family’s preferences and nutritional needs.
- Specialize in Asian, Indian and Continental cuisines while maintaining variety and taste.
- Ensure meals are healthy, balanced, and freshly prepared.
- Manage sourcing and purchasing of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized kitchen at all times.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
- Adapt meals based on dietary preferences or restrictions of family members.
- Ensure consistent portion control, presentation, and meal timing.
- Coordinate with household staff when required for smooth kitchen operations.
- Prepare food for small family gatherings or occasions if needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as a private chef or in premium restaurants/hotels.
- Strong expertise in Asian and Continental cuisine.
- Good knowledge of healthy cooking techniques and nutrition-focused meal preparation.
- Culinary certification or professional training is preferred.
- High standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy personality.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the family's preferences.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
