Job Description – Store Manager (Inventory & Procurement Control)

Gold Coins Club & Resort, a 25-year-old heritage property spread across a 10-acre estate in Electronic City, Bengaluru, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee inventory control, stock management, and store operations across all departments. The role is critical to ensuring efficient material flow, cost control, and operational continuity.

To manage all store activities including inventory control, stock tracking, issuing materials, and coordinating with departments, ensuring availability of supplies while minimizing wastage and cost.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all stock items (F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, bar, and general supplies).
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Store Operations
- Handle inward and outward movement of goods.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in store areas.
- Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers and inventory records in MS Excel / system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Track consumption patterns and usage reports.
Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with purchase team and vendors for supply.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure quality and quantity checks at the time of delivery.
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor usage to reduce wastage and pilferage.
- Optimize stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Support management in cost control initiatives.
Department Coordination
- Issue materials to kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, and bar teams.
- Ensure smooth supply chain within the resort.
- Coordinate with accounts for billing and documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate preferred (Commerce / Business / Supply Chain background is a plus).
- 3–7 years of experience in store/inventory management (hospitality preferred).
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication skills (English and Kannada required).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible.
