OVERVIEW
GIC Sales Strategy & Intelligence team partners with our global General Mills sales teams in providing them with analytical horsepower and enable business continuity so they can focus on core activities – Selling, driving distribution gains and optimizing merchandising plans to deliver sales volume targets. We enable customer, pricing & promotion strategies across the global markets through our focused capabilities of Sales Execution, Trade & Strategic Revenue Management and Category Management. Teams within function are aligned to the above focused capabilities for each of our markets and each team member specializes in domains of Advanced Analytics, Visual Insights & Planogramming.

We apply the principles of analytics to everything we do, constantly experimenting to discover new ways to add value to our stakeholders, customers and team members.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reporting
- Own and deliver the SSR reporting suite for customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of sales numbers to field teams and leadership.
- Prepare the weekly COMAC report, including the Power Pivot process, updates to the Feature Visuals Tracker, and file drops to E2open.
- Track Walmart COMACs scheduled for upcoming weeks and communicate updates through the NRO RS/RSL Burst document in E2open.
- Collaborate with the Walmart team to compile actuals, create insights decks, and share actuals with the field.
- Follow defined reporting processes, maintain documentation, and complete quality checks before distribution.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or process issues and escalate them in a timely manner.
STQ Support
- Create STQs and recaps for the Hispanic Market and WinCo Market, as required.
- Create monthly task questions in Salesforce and track completion of required activities.
- Analyze task-question responses and provide recaps and insights on in-store display performance.
- Present information in a clear, concise, and business-relevant format for stakeholders.
Administration and Business Support
- Monitor and respond to the WM Support Inbox for requests related to missing GMI bagged cereal dividers and signings from Walmart stores.
- Provide Sales Sheet and Account Priority support by uploading sell sheets and account-priority documents to Salesforce and NRO SharePoint.
- Maintain accurate records, trackers, and repositories to support business continuity and easy access to information.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify requests, communicate status, and close open actions within agreed timelines.
Data Quality, Executional Excellence, and Continuous Improvement
- Apply robust data and logic checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reports and recaps.
- Meet agreed turnaround times and proactively set expectations when requirements or timelines change.
- Build knowledge of NRO processes, customer requirements, and reporting definitions to improve the quality of outputs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or improve recurring processes.
- Reuse approved templates, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Manage multiple deliverables with strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university
- Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors
- 1 to 2 years of relevant Business Reporting or Analytics experience in CPG (or related) industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters
- Preferred Major Area of Study: Any Stream (preferably Business Management, Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, Retail)
- Preferred years of related experience: 2 - 4 years of relevant Business Reporting and/or Analytics experience
