Why this role exists
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, revenue-driven BD & Growth Lead to join the Founder's Office. This role focuses on taking over fundraising pipelines from the co-founders, establishing a repeatable revenue system, and leading organizational growth initiatives. This role has a direct path to transitioning into Head of Growth within 12–18 months.
Please note: This vertical specifically manages funding, donor, and CSR partnerships, which is entirely distinct from our programmatic delivery vertical.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full fundraising lifecycle across institutional grants, CSR, philanthropy, and bilateral/multilateral funding.
- Write, format, and deliver institutional proposals, concept notes, pitch decks, and donor reports.
- Map growth channels and secure long-term strategic alliances to scale organizational revenue.
- Implement and manage a clean funder CRM tracker to monitor pipelines and performance targets.
- Represent the executive team and co-founders in external stakeholder and funder meetings.
- Recruit, train, and manage a small growth team as the function matures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 6 to 9 years in Business Development, Corporate Partnerships, B2B Sales, NGO Fundraising, Management Consulting, or Startup Growth.
- Track Record: Proven success sourcing and closing large-scale accounts, corporate partnerships, or institutional grants.
- Skills: Expert strategic writing, high-stakes presentation design, relationship management, and CRM proficiency.
- Core Attributes: Highly organized, comfortable working in low-structure environments, and strong execution focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pre-existing warm relationships within the Indian funding landscape (foundations, CSR heads, philanthropy advisory firms).
- Prior experience working within or closely alongside the social impact, sustainability, or development sectors.
