Mandatory: Microcontrollers, Power Electronics, PCB Design, EMI/EMC, ISO26262/FuSa, AC Motors & Controllers (or Motor Inverters) Design Knowledge.
Detailed JD-
- Sense of responsibility, investigation and innovation
- Demonstrated ability for interpersonal relationships
- English communication (spoken & written) should be adequate to converse at international level
- Experience with high current power semiconductors (IGBT's, MOSFETs, Diodes etc.), gate drive and protection circuit design.
- Knowledge of AC Motor Drives, Motor Control and Electric Machines
- Demonstrated ability of being a team player
- Demonstrated ability to train subordinates
- Expert in Analog circuit, Power Electronics, Microcontrollers, Power supply & drivers design.
- Hands-on experience on different tools for HW Schematic design, BOM preparation & layout. Must be able to co-ordinate with other engineering teams Mechanics, PCB Layout, Validation, and Production and bring about constructive solutions.
- Impact Analysis of the changes to the electrical system (ECU, Motor, Sensor and Software).
- Experience in the selection and use of microcontrollers and programmable logic devices and their peripheral circuitry (signal conditioning, board-level power supplies).
- Appreciation of the system level interactions between electrical machines and power electronics, thermal management, mechanical and NVH for electrical/mechanical components
- Conversant with ISO26262 and functional safety (FuSa) requirements for driveline. Able to deal with ASIL ratings. Hands on experience in design analysis- DFMEA, FMEDA, worst case circuit analysis.
- Design electronic circuits that comply with electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) standards
