We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic VP of Information Technology to lead our E Commerce Web Development Company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale IT operations, developing and implementing technology strategies, and driving innovation to support business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The VP of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, managing budgets, and leading a team of IT professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with the Management team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and
- production, balancing the long-term and immediate needs.
- Handling the entire E-commerce project from scratch, including its full lifecycle, completion, and ongoing maintenance.
- Oversee data security, management, and governance.
- Manage strategic clients and technology partner relationships.
- Manage IT resource allocation, Goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.
- Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including an
- understanding of the alignment between technology strategy and various technology road maps.
- Create strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all
- technical, web, and mobile services.
- Ability to identify new opportunities, drive clarity, create focus, and make tough decisions in
- Complex and dynamic contexts.
- Ability to track and identify new technologies to solve complex business issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of software engineering or IT experience, with minimum 4 years of leadership and management experience with minimum 15 members team size.
- Skilled in Agile/Scrum methodologies with practical experience in managing iterative
development cycles, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Previous experience as a CTO, Vice President, or similar leadership role.
- Strong communication with ability to convey technical topics in easy-to-understand business
terms and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages (such as PHP, React, Node.js, and Shopify,
WordPress, etc.), frameworks, techniques, and industry trends.
- Good hands-on Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Should have good experience handling the international clients (USA, UK & Australia)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field
(master’s degree preferred).
