The Associate in Dispatch will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of materials and supplies within the hospital environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments to facilitate timely dispatches while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory by categorizing and storing supplies in designated areas.
- Prepare and dispatch materials and equipment as per departmental requests.
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking of supplies.
- Adhere to all safety and quality assurance protocols in handling materials.
- Assist in preparing reports on dispatch activities and inventory status.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or inventory management role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
