Job Title: Data Consultant – Data Governance (Tech Lead)
Experience: 8+ Years (5+ Years Relevant Experience)
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize SQL-based analytics and reporting solutions to support enterprise data initiatives. Utilize Python and SAS for data analysis, automation, and advanced data processing while building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines. Implement and enforce data management standards, including data lifecycle and data ownership practices, and support data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Monitor and resolve data quality issues, manage metadata and data lineage, collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver trusted data assets, and drive end-to-end ownership of data-related challenges. Track enhancements and project activities while ensuring timely delivery of solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills: Strong expertise in SQL including complex queries, joins, and performance tuning, along with hands-on experience in Python for data analysis and ETL development and SAS for statistical analysis and enterprise reporting. Candidates should possess deep knowledge of ETL architecture, data pipelines, data management, data governance, and data quality frameworks. Experience with Alation for metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage, and Bigeye for data observability and quality monitoring is preferred. Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies is an added advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, team collaboration, and a high degree of ownership and accountability are essential for this role.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
