Job Summary
The Telecaller is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls related to school admissions, responding to parent inquiries, generating admission leads, scheduling campus visits, and maintaining accurate records of all interactions. The role requires excellent communication skills, a courteous approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with prospective parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective parents based on admission enquiry data.
- Attend inbound calls and provide accurate information regarding the school's curriculum, admission process, fee structure, facilities, and academic programs.
- Follow up regularly with admission enquiries to encourage admissions.
- Schedule school visits, counselling sessions, and admission interviews.
- Maintain and update enquiry records in the school's CRM or Excel database.
- Coordinate with the Admission Counsellor and school administration for admission-related activities.
- Send admission brochures, application forms, and other information via email or WhatsApp.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and follow-up targets.
- Prepare daily reports on calls made, follow-ups, campus visits, and conversions.
- Address parent queries professionally and escalate complex issues when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and parent information.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, admissions, or sales.
- Experience in the education sector will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication in English, Hindi, and the local language.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and customer service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports.
- Positive attitude and target-oriented approach.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of outbound calls made daily.
- Number of parent follow-ups completed.
- Campus visits and counselling appointments scheduled.
- Admission enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rate.
- Accuracy and timeliness of data entry and reports.
- Parent satisfaction and response time.
