Nipco Pipes & Tanks is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of high-quality PVC pipes and water storage tanks catering to residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial markets. We are expanding our sales network and looking for experienced field sales professionals who can independently manage territory growth and deliver consistent results.
Requirements & Eligibility for Sales Executive
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing distributor relationships, driving primary and secondary sales, expanding retailer networks, ensuring payment collections, and executing promotional activities within the assigned territory.
This is a pure field-sales role requiring strong market presence, dealer handling capability, and result-oriented execution.
- Minimum 4-5 Years of Sales Experience : Must have at least 4- 5 years of hands-on experience in sales as Field Executive to develop new Clients both primary and secondary.
- Sales Background in Building Materials : Experience should be in selling products like Water Tanks, PVC Pipes, PTMPT Taps, Sanitary ware, Bath fittings, Paints, Tiles, Cement, Iron & Steel, or Electrical items.
- Not from Unrelated Fields : We are not considering candidates from FMCG, medical, insurance, automobiles, mobile phones, car showrooms, or educational sales. Only building material sales experience counts.
Must Own a Two-Wheeler : Since the job involves fieldwork, having your own two-wheeler is necessary.
- Good Knowledge of the Local Area : You should be familiar with the local market and surrounding areas to plan your visits and understand customer needs better.
- Willing to Work 6 Days in the Field : This is a field-oriented job. You should be comfortable working outside the office 6 days a week.
- Willing to Travel Outstation for Work : Occasionally, you’ll be required to stay in another district for up to a week for business visits.
Clear and Confident Communication : Good verbal communication is a must. You should be able to speak clearly and confidently with customers.
- Strong Convincing Skills : You should be good at explaining the value of our products and convincing customers to make a purchase.
- Confidence is Key : Confidence in how you present yourself and talk to clients will be highly appreciated.
- Preferred Experience with Water Tanks or PVC Pipes : If you’ve already worked in the water tank or PVC pipeline segment, you’ll be given preference.
Job Responsibilities – Sales Executive
- Visit distributors and primary dealers once every week to review sales and plan secondary activities.
- Regularly visit dealers, sub-dealers, and retailers to maintain strong relationships.
- Achieve monthly primary sales targets in the assigned Area.
- Achieve monthly secondary sales targets of the Distributor in your territory.
- Increase the number of active retailers and expand business in your area.
- Appoint new retailers and develop new markets.
- Ensure timely payment collection from dealers & distributors.
- Implement company promotional schemes properly in the market.
- Distribute scheme gifts and promotional materials responsibly.
- Conduct in-shop plumber meets and local marketing activities to increase sales.
- Ensure proper shop branding and product visibility at dealer and retailer outlets.
- Apply marketing and sales strategies to grow distributor business.
- If handling a team, guide and monitor sales executives to achieve targets.
- Conduct weekly review meetings with the sales team (if assigned).
- Check and monitor your own expenses as per company policy & Sales Generated.
Overall Objective
The primary objective of the Sales Executive is to increase sales, expand the distribution network, ensure timely collections, and strengthen brand presence in the assigned territory while maintaining strong market relationships.
