Job Summary
The Agriculture Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling agricultural products such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, farm equipment, irrigation products, or crop solutions. The role involves developing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, farmers, and agricultural institutions to achieve sales targets while providing technical product guidance and market support.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell agricultural products to dealers, distributors, and farmers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular field visits to farms, retailers, and distribution channels.
- Generate new leads and convert them into long-term customers.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and farmers.
- Provide product demonstrations and explain product benefits.
- Resolve customer queries and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate market requirements to management.
Market Development
- Conduct market surveys and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging agricultural trends and customer needs.
- Organize farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and awareness programs.
- Support promotional campaigns and agricultural exhibitions.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily visit reports and sales reports.
- Maintain customer database and sales records.
- Track order status, payments, and collections.
- Submit weekly and monthly performance reports.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and CRM software is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture) preferred.
- Diploma in Agriculture or any graduate with relevant agriculture sales experience may also apply.
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience in agriculture sales, agri-inputs, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, irrigation products, farm equipment, or related industries.
- Freshers with a B.Sc. Agriculture degree and strong communication skills can also be considered.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
