We’re Hiring – Production Designer (Modular Furniture Industry)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed production drawings for modular furniture.
- Create cutting lists, BOM (Bill of Materials), and hardware schedules.
- Convert design concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and installation teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
- Optimize designs for efficient production and material utilization.
- Revise drawings based on client changes and production feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Experience with modular furniture detailing and production drawings.
- Knowledge of plywood, laminates, hardware, edge banding, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare BOQs, BOMs, and cutting lists.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in the modular furniture industry preferred.
