A reputed Super Speciality Hospital in Narasaraopet is seeking an experienced Nursing Superintendent to lead and oversee the nursing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, managing nursing operations, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with hospital quality and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
GNM or B.Sc Nursing (M.Sc Nursing preferred)
Valid Nursing Council Registration
Minimum 8–10 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or nursing leadership role
Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be an added advantage
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department and ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain high clinical and professional standards.
Develop and manage nursing duty rosters, staffing plans, and workforce allocation.
Ensure compliance with infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and hospital policies.
Coordinate with medical, administrative, and allied healthcare departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Monitor nursing documentation, quality indicators, and regulatory compliance.
Support recruitment, orientation, training, and continuous professional development of nursing staff.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and hospital accreditation activities.
Address patient care concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
