Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, processing payments, maintaining accurate cash records, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processing while supporting daily restaurant operations and maintaining compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Cash Handling & Billing
- Generate and process customer bills accurately through the POS system.
- Receive payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, wallets, and other approved payment methods.
- Ensure proper issuance of bills, receipts, and payment acknowledgments.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions during the shift.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
Customer Service
- Greet guests courteously and assist them with billing-related queries.
- Address customer concerns regarding payments, invoices, and discounts professionally.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Financial Compliance
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the POS system.
- Verify discounts, complimentary items, and promotional offers as per company guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of cash and financial information.
- Report any discrepancies or irregularities immediately to management.
Operational Support
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure order accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining records of daily sales and settlement reports.
- Support inventory and stock audits when required.
- Follow all company SOPs, hygiene standards, and operational policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification in Hospitality or Accounting will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier in Restaurants, Cafés, Hotels, Banquets, QSRs, or other F&B establishments.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems and digital payment platforms.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
