Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant (Finance) to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in implementing and supporting the Finance module of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The candidate should possess excellent business analysis skills, hands-on experience in financial processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Module Implementation
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of the Finance module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Gather and analyze business requirements through workshops with business users and stakeholders.
- Configure Business Central solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Support implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), Gap Analysis, Business Process Flows, and Solution Design Documents.
- Analyze existing financial business processes and recommend process improvements using Business Central.
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers for solution design, customizations, integrations, and enhancements.
- Validate custom developments to ensure business requirements are met.
Finance Operations Support
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Assist customers with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Banking, and Inventory reconciliations.
- Resolve functional issues and provide timely support within agreed SLAs.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
Testing & User Acceptance
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate issue resolution during testing and deployment.
- Ensure successful implementation through quality assurance and validation activities.
Training & Documentation
- Conduct end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer.
- Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Maintain project documentation, version control, and knowledge repositories.
Stakeholder Management
- Participate in customer meetings and interact with business stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates and implementation status.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is an advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based ERP solutions is preferred.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- B.Com / M.Com / ICWA / CA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance implementation and support.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Certification is preferred.
