Position: Export Pricing Executive
Experience: 2 – 5 Years
Location: Chembur East
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Export Pricing Executive to manage export freight pricing, rate negotiations, and quotation preparation for customers and overseas agents. The candidate should have strong knowledge of FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Incoterms, and international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide competitive export freight quotations for FCL, LCL, and Air Freight shipments.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to obtain rates.
- Maintain and update rate sheets and pricing databases regularly.
- Compare vessel schedules, transit times, and freight costs to offer the best solutions to customers.
- Handle pricing inquiries from the sales team and customers within the stipulated timeline.
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and service providers.
- Ensure accurate application of Incoterms such as EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, and other trade terms.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to maintain competitiveness.
- Support business development and operations teams with pricing-related information.
- Prepare monthly pricing reports and maintain proper documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Export Pricing and Freight Forwarding.
- Experience in FCL, LCL, and Air Freight pricing.
- Good understanding of Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.).
- Knowledge of transit time analysis and vessel schedule comparison.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight management systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualification:
- Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or any related field.
- Certification in Freight Forwarding or Logistics will be an added advantage.
