Assistant Primary Teacher

Position Overview
Pallavi International School – Sagar Road Campus is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Assistant Primary Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning experiences for primary school students. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Lead Teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
* Support classroom management to ensure a safe, disciplined, and positive learning environment.
* Provide individual and small-group academic support to students.
* Assist in assessing students' classwork, assignments, and projects under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
* Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, classroom displays, and learning resources.
* Encourage students' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
* Supervise students during classroom activities, assemblies, breaks, field trips, and school events.
* Maintain accurate records and assist in classroom documentation as required.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Participate in school events, professional development programs, meetings, and extracurricular activities.
* Adhere to all school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Graduation with a B.Ed. qualification.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Sound knowledge of primary school teaching methodologies.
* Passion for working with young learners and supporting their holistic development.
Experience
* **1–3 years of teaching experience** in a primary school is preferred.
