Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective EVS lessons for primary classes as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, and teaching-learning materials.
- Use child-friendly, interactive, and activity-based teaching methods.
- Explain concepts related to plants, animals, family, community, food, water, shelter, transportation, health, hygiene, and the environment.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, nature-based activities, educational games, field activities, and projects wherever appropriate.
- Encourage students to observe, explore, ask questions, think creatively, and develop problem-solving skills.
- Assess students through classwork, worksheets, activities, projects, oral questioning, and periodic assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
- Provide additional support and remedial teaching to students who need extra assistance.
- Maintain classroom discipline while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop awareness among students about cleanliness, conservation of natural resources, environmental protection, and responsible citizenship.
- Integrate EVS concepts with other subjects wherever appropriate.
- Use age-appropriate digital tools and smart-class resources to enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress, behaviour, and development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, assemblies, workshops, training programmes, and co-curricular activities.
- Support school initiatives, celebrations, exhibitions, competitions, and educational programmes.
- Follow school policies, CBSE academic guidelines, child-safety standards, and professional ethics.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment for all students.
Pay: ₹10,309.70 - ₹38,865.35 per month
