About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable IAD Faculty to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training in Interior Architecture & Design, guiding students through design projects, and helping them develop industry-relevant technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and practical training sessions in Interior Architecture & Design.
- Teach 2D/3D design concepts, space planning, architectural drawings, and interior detailing.
- Provide hands-on training in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Lumion, or Enscape.
- Guide students in developing interior design concepts, layouts, presentations, and projects.
- Explain industry standards, materials, furniture, lighting, and space planning concepts.
- Evaluate student assignments, projects, and practical work.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentor students throughout their learning journey.
- Keep course content and teaching methods aligned with current industry practices.
- Support students in developing portfolios and preparing for industry opportunities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Interior Design & Interior Architecture.
- Good understanding of space planning, furniture design, materials, lighting, and interior detailing.
- Proficiency in one or more design software:
- AutoCAD /SketchUp/3ds Max/Revit/V-Ray/Lumion / Enscape/Photoshop
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interest in teaching, mentoring, and student development.
