Goodland Pickleball is building premium pickleball destinations that combine sport, wellness, social experiences, and community. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive partnerships, memberships, sponsorships, and revenue growth across our Mumbai operations.
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, developing sponsorship relationships, and driving membership growth.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and secure partnerships with wellness, fitness, hospitality, lifestyle, and corporate brands.
- Develop collaborations with luxury hotels, fitness studios, wellness centers, and community organizations.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages.
Membership Growth
- Drive new membership sales and retention initiatives.
- Develop corporate membership and employee wellness programs.
- Build referral and ambassador programs.
Sponsorship & Revenue Generation
- Source and secure event sponsors and brand partners.
- Develop sponsorship packages for tournaments, leagues, and community events.
- Create revenue opportunities through strategic collaborations.
Community Development
- Build relationships with local pickleball players, coaches, clubs, and communities.
- Represent Goodland at networking events and industry gatherings.
- Develop initiatives to increase player engagement and club participation.
Sales & Reporting
- Manage sales pipelines and partnership opportunities.
- Track leads, conversion rates, and revenue performance.
- Provide regular business development reports to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
- 3–8 years of business development, sales, partnerships, or sponsorship experience.
- Strong network within Mumbai's hospitality, fitness, wellness, lifestyle, or corporate sectors is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Partnership revenue generated.
- Sponsorship revenue secured.
- Membership sales and retention.
- Corporate accounts acquired.
- Event and activation partnerships established.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
