Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Social Studies teacher specializing in Global Perspectives. The ideal candidate will foster critical thinking, research skills, and global awareness among students, encouraging them to analyse contemporary issues from multiple perspectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Global Perspectives framework.
- Facilitate inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to explore global issues such as sustainability, culture, economics, and international relations.
- Guide students in research, analysis, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and projects in accordance with curriculum standards.
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and independent learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Political Science, or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
- Certification or training in Cambridge Curriculum (preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge school.

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor students in research and project-based learning.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Attributes:
- Experience teaching Cambridge Global Perspectives (IGCSE or Lower Secondary).
- Exposure to international teaching methodologies.
- Ability to guide students for presentations, reports, and collaborative projects.
