We are looking for an experienced Head of Production & Director to lead our entire production department. This is a leadership role for someone who can manage people, direct creative projects, oversee production operations, and consistently deliver exceptional visual content.
Job Summary
As the Head of Production & Director, you will be responsible for managing the complete production workflow from concept to final delivery. You will lead the production team, direct commercial shoots, maintain high creative standards, optimize production efficiency, and ensure every project meets client expectations.
Key Responsibilities Production Leadership
- Lead and manage all video production activities.
- Plan and oversee the complete production workflow.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Creative Direction
- Direct commercial shoots, promotional videos, documentaries, corporate films, reels, and branded content.
- Guide storytelling, cinematography, visual aesthetics, and overall creative execution.
- Maintain consistent brand quality across every project.
Production Planning
- Create production schedules and shoot plans.
- Coordinate locations, crew, equipment, talent, and logistics.
- Ensure smooth execution of every production.
Shoot Supervision
- Supervise camera operations, lighting, sound, and on-set production.
- Solve production challenges efficiently.
- Ensure professional execution during every shoot.
Team Leadership
- Lead videographers, editors, motion designers, photographers, and production assistants.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor project progress.
- Mentor the production team and improve overall performance.
Client Coordination
- Understand client objectives and campaign requirements.
- Coordinate with creative, marketing, and account management teams.
- Ensure final deliverables exceed client expectations.
Budget & Resource Management
- Plan production budgets.
- Manage equipment, production resources, crew, and vendors.
- Optimize production costs without compromising quality.
Portfolio Development
- Build and maintain a strong production portfolio for Advex Media.
- Produce high quality commercial work that strengthens the company's brand presence.
Production Innovation
- Introduce new filming techniques, creative concepts, AI tools, and modern production workflows.
- Continuously improve production quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in video production, filmmaking, or creative direction.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, and storytelling.
- Experience directing commercial shoots and brand campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client handling skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Experience working in advertising agencies is highly preferred.
- Own a professional camera suitable for commercial video production.
