Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer to design, estimate, and coordinate HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping design, BOQ preparation, and coordination with clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. HVAC System Design
- Design HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Perform heat load calculations using industry standards.
- Select suitable HVAC equipment, including VRF/VRV systems, DX systems, ductable units, package units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Prepare duct layouts, piping layouts, ventilation layouts, and equipment layouts.
2. Estimation & BOQ
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs.
- Estimate project costs and prepare techno-commercial proposals.
- Assist the sales team with tender submissions and quotations.
- Review project specifications and tender documents.
3. Drawings & Documentation
- Prepare HVAC shop drawings, schematic drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and project teams.
- Prepare technical submittals, equipment data sheets, and material approval documents.
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with the execution team during project implementation.
- Provide technical support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site visits for surveys, measurements, and design verification.
- Resolve design-related issues during project execution.
5. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Present HVAC design concepts and technical solutions.
- Respond to consultant comments and revise drawings as required.
- Support project commissioning and final handover documentation.
6. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Optimize system design for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.
- Follow company quality procedures and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation.
- Experience in commercial and residential HVAC projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles and MEP coordination.

- AutoCAD (Mandatory)

- Familiarity with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, NBC, and relevant HVAC standards
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HAP, Elite CHVAC, Revit MEP, or similar HVAC design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
