Our product combines modern artificial intelligence, scalable cloud infrastructure, and an exceptional user experience to solve a meaningful real-world problem.
We are looking for an exceptional engineer who enjoys building products from zero to production.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is an opportunity to become the primary technical engineer behind a product that is being built with long-term vision, high engineering standards, and significant growth potential.
The Role
You will own the technical execution of the product.
The founder will remain responsible for:
- Product vision
- UI/UX design
- Feature planning
- Customer experience
- Business strategy
- Product improvements
You will be responsible for transforming product requirements into a secure, scalable, production-ready application.
This role requires someone who enjoys ownership, can work independently, and is comfortable making technical decisions while collaborating closely with the founder.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable application architecture.
- Develop backend services and APIs.
- Build modern web applications using Next.js and React.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Develop and manage Supabase infrastructure.
- Implement secure authentication and user management.
- Integrate AI models and external APIs.
- Implement subscription and payment systems using Stripe.
- Develop usage limits, feature gating, and account management.
- Build dashboards and internal administration tools.
- Configure CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
- Maintain code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation.
- Review and improve AI-assisted code generation.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Recommend architectural improvements as the product evolves.

- AI assistants or chat applications
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- Vector databases
- Semantic search
- AI agents
- Subscription-based software
- Analytics dashboards
- Multi-language applications
- High-growth startup products

- Enjoys solving difficult technical challenges.
We care far more about engineering quality, ownership, and problem-solving ability than years of experience alone.
Qualifications
Preferred:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building and launching at least one SaaS product.
- Strong understanding of scalable application architecture.
- Portfolio, GitHub profile, or live applications demonstrating your work.
