CGI is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data integration, data warehousing concepts, SQL, and performance tuning.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions.
Create and maintain mappings, sessions, workflows, and reusable transformations.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from multiple source systems.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and ETL-related issues.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or other relational databases.
Good understanding of Data Warehousing and ETL concepts.
Experience in workflow monitoring, debugging, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS).
Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and MDM concepts.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
