Adrustar Ratnalayam Jewels is a rapidly growing astrology, spiritual services, and e-commerce
brand specializing in Astro Gemology, Vedic Astrology, Numerology, Vastu, spiritual remedies, gemstones, consultations, and digital customer engagement platforms. We are seeking an experienced MERN Stack Developer to maintain, optimize, and expand our custom-built web platforms.
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive MERN Stack Developer who can take ownership of our existing E-commerce and Astrology platforms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling both frontend and backend development, debugging production issues, improving performance, integrating third-party services, and building new business-critical features.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing React.js and Node.js applications.
- Develop new modules and features for astrology and e-commerce platforms.
- Manage MongoDB databases and optimize performance.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Integrate payment gateways, booking systems, CRM tools, and third-party APIs.
- Fix bugs, security issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to launch new features quickly.
- Monitor production environments and ensure platform stability.
E-commerce Platform Responsibilities
- Product catalog management and inventory workflows.
- Shopping cart and checkout systems.
- Order management and customer dashboards.
- Payment gateway integrations.
- SEO and website performance optimization.
- Analytics and reporting enhancements.
Astrology Platform Responsibilities
- Consultation booking systems.
- Horoscope, Kundli, Numerology, and Astrology integrations.
- Membership and subscription modules.
- Live chat and customer engagement tools.
- Lead management and inquiry workflows.
- Content and spiritual services management features.
Required Technical Skills
- 3+ years of MERN Stack development experience.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience with Redux or Context API.
- JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript knowledge preferred.
- REST API development and integration expertise.
- Authentication systems using JWT/OAuth.
- Git and version control workflows.
- Deployment experience on AWS, VPS, DigitalOcean, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of PM2, Nginx, CI/CD pipelines, and server administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on custom e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, or PayU.
- Experience integrating WhatsApp, SMS, and CRM solutions.
- Understanding of SEO and performance optimization.
- Exposure to AI tools, chatbot integrations, or automation systems.
- Prior experience with astrology, consultation, booking, or subscription platforms is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
