Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and administrative functions to ensure efficient workforce management and smooth office administration. The role includes recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, statutory compliance support, performance management, and overall administrative control while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable labour laws.
Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Supervise employee onboarding, induction, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs to ensure timely salary processing.
- Maintain employee records, HRMS data, and personnel files.
- Support performance appraisal, employee development, and training initiatives.
- Handle employee grievances and promote healthy employee relations.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and workforce analytics for management.
- Ensure implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and recognition programs.
- Support statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Welfare Fund, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable labour regulations by coordinating with internal teams and consultants.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required HR documentation.
Administration
- Manage office administration, facility management, housekeeping, security, transport, and pantry services.
- Oversee office maintenance and ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized workplace.
- Coordinate with vendors for office supplies, AMC services, and administrative requirements.
- Monitor office assets, inventory, and procurement of stationery and consumables.
- Manage travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics for employees and visitors.
- Ensure timely renewal of office licenses, agreements, and administrative records.
- Coordinate office events, meetings, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Monitor administrative budgets and control operational expenses.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and administration.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliances.
- Experience with HRMS and payroll software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualification
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in handling recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and administration is preferred.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
