A class teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching lessons that are pacey, challenging, and inspiring, according to the educational needs of the pupils in their class. They set clear learning objectives, assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils. They promote a safe and purposeful working environment, use a variety of teaching methods, and mark work in line with the school's policies.
