Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and identifying strategic business opportunities across branding, advertising, digital marketing, and integrated communication services.
1. New Business Acquisition
- Identify, prospect, and generate leads across sectors (real estate, retail, FMCG, entertainment, etc.)
- Pitch integrated marketing solutions including digital campaigns, branding, media planning, and content
- Develop customized proposals aligned with client business objectives
- Convert leads into long-term clients through consultative selling
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers (CMOs, Brand Managers, Founders)
- Act as a strategic advisor on marketing communication strategies
3. Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
- Upsell and cross-sell agency services across existing clients
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track market trends in advertising, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and media buying
- Analyze competitor offerings and pricing models
- Identify new revenue streams (e.g., performance marketing, influencer collaborations, AI-driven campaigns)
Key Requirements
Experience
- 4–8 years in business development/sales within a Marcom, advertising, or digital marketing agency
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets
Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, performance marketing)
- Branding & creative strategy
- Media planning and buying
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to build proposals and pitch decks independently
Tools & Competencies
- Proposal & presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
- Basic understanding of analytics and campaign metrics
Pay: From ₹480,000.00 per year
