Junior Interior Designer

About the Role
Plot and Plan Studio is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. If you're excited about transforming ideas into thoughtful spaces and want hands-on experience working on residential and commercial projects from concept to execution, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and space planning.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings including layouts, furniture plans, electrical plans, and working drawings.
- Create accurate 3D models using SketchUp to visualize design concepts.
- Coordinate with senior designers to develop design presentations and client proposals.
- Assist in material selection, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, vendor coordination, and project discussions.
- Support the team in documentation, BOQs, and project coordination.
- Ensure designs are practical, functional, and aligned with project timelines.
What We're Looking For
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of space planning, design principles, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modelling.
- A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Prior internship or work experience is an added advantage.
