Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company's financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and provide timely financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax compliance.
- Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor customer collections and vendor payments.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, and supporting documents.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
- Support inventory reconciliation and stock verification.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and government authorities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or CMA Inter preferred.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act provisions.
- Experience with Tally ERP/accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
