Shreeyam Property Developers is a growing real estate and construction company based in Coimbatore, delivering premium residential villa and property developments. We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to oversee execution and quality on our ongoing construction sites.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential/villa construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate with contractors and labor teams, ensure quality and safety compliance, and keep project timelines and costs on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily on-site construction activities from foundation to finishing stages
- Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings accurately on site
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor material usage, quality, and wastage; maintain accurate site records and stock registers
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks (RCC work, masonry, plastering, painting, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Prepare daily progress reports, work completion reports, and measurement sheets
- Coordinate with the design/architecture team on site queries and design clarifications
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance at the site
- Track project schedules and flag delays or resource issues to management
- Assist in cost estimation, BOQ verification, and billing related to site work
- Liaise with local authorities/inspectors as required for approvals and compliance
- Manage attendance and productivity of on-site labor and supervisory staff
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer in residential or villa construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and IS codes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil/structural drawings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and site management/reporting tools
- Strong understanding of RCC design, masonry work, and finishing works
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and vendors simultaneously
Preferred Skills
- Experience with villa/gated community projects
- Familiarity with quantity estimation and billing procedures
- Knowledge of safety standards and quality control practices
- Local language proficiency (Tamil) preferred for effective on-ground coordination
