Associate L2 - Mac Support Admin
We are seeking a Mac Systems Administrator with strong experience managing Apple devices in an enterprise environment. This role is responsible for administering, securing, and supporting macOS systems, with a primary focus on Jamf Pro and Apple Business Manager (ABM). The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and experienced in device lifecycle management, automation, patching, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and support macOS devices across the organization. • Manage Jamf Pro for device enrollment, configuration profiles, policies, patching, software deployment, and inventory.
- Support Apple Business Manager for automated device enrollment and application purchasing and distribution.
- Develop and maintain standard configurations, compliance policies, and security baselines for Apple devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, enrollment, and policy-related issues for Mac users.
- Automate routine administration tasks using scripts such as Bash, Zsh, or Python.
- Package, test, and deploy software updates and third-party applications to managed devices.
- Monitor fleet health, patch compliance, and device security status.
- Collaborate with security, network, identity, and help desk teams to support a reliable end-user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base content. • Serve as an escalation point for complex Mac-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting or administering macOS in a large business or enterprise environment (10,000+ Macs)
- Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro administration.
- Experience with Apple Business Manager, including Automated Device Enrollment and app distribution.
- Strong knowledge of macOS troubleshooting, configuration, and security best practices.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Bash, Zsh, Python, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of software packaging, patch management, and endpoint management processes.
- Familiarity with identity and access integrations with Entra.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Jamf certification such as Jamf 200, or higher.
- Apple certifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience in large-scale device deployments and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks, endpoint security tools, and reporting.
- Experience supporting hybrid environments with both Mac and Windows systems.
