Sr. Executive/AM/Manager - Accounts
Job Summary:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with statutory requirements, and effective financial control. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, budgeting, audits, and financial reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Reporting
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
· Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses
· Generate MIS reports and financial analysis for management
· Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
· Oversee vendor payments and ensure timely processing
· Monitor guest ledgers, city ledgers, and outstanding receivables
· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
3. Compliance & Audit
· Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
· Coordinate internal and external audits
· Maintain proper documentation and records
4. Inventory & Revenue Control
· Monitor food & beverage cost, inventory valuation, and stock audits
· Work closely with departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping) for revenue tracking
· Ensure proper billing and revenue leakage prevention
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance
· 5–8 years of experience in hotel accounting (preferably 4-star or above)
Key Skills:
· Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting systems
· Knowledge of GST and Indian taxation
· Analytical and problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Leadership and team management
· Good communication and coordination skills

· Accuracy of financial reports
· Timely closure of books
· Cost control efficiency
· Audit compliance
· Reduction in outstanding receivables
Working Conditions:
· Full-time role
· May require extended hours during audits or month-end closing
· Coordination with multiple hotel departments
