As a Technical Content Writer for Instruction Manuals, main job is to create and easy to follow guides that help users understand how to use products or perform specific tasks.
- Research: Gather information about the product or task you're writing about. Understand how it works so you can explain it well.
- Writing: Write step-by-step instructions in simple language. Use clear and concise wording to make it easy for users to follow along.
- Formatting: Organize the instructions in a logical order. Use headings, bullet points, and numbered lists to make them easy to read and understand.
- Illustrations: Work with designers to create illustrations or diagrams that complement the written instructions. Visual aids can help users understand complex steps more easily.
- Testing: Test the instructions yourself to make sure they work. Get feedback from others and make any necessary revisions.
- Revision: Update the instructions as needed based on user feedback or changes to the product.
- Meeting Deadlines: Manage your time well to complete projects on time. Instruction manuals may need to be ready before the product is released, so meeting deadlines is important
Candidate Qualifications :
- Fluency with all three languages such as : English, Hindi and Gujarati
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, ERP and software programs
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are advantageous.
- 2-3 years of industry experience or a relatable experience required
