About the Role
We are looking for an Associate who can independently manage court matters while supporting senior counsel on complex litigation. If you have a solid grounding in procedural and substantive law and enjoy hands-on courtroom work, you will thrive in our fast-paced practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Independent Appearances: Conduct arguments, examine witnesses and handle filing/ listing before District & Commercial Courts, RERA, DRT and ancillary forums in Gurugram/NCR.
- Advanced Drafting: Draft and finalise plaints, written statements, interlocutory applications, petitions, replies, notices, contracts, settlement deeds and legal opinions with minimal supervision.
- Research & Strategy: Perform in-depth legal research; prepare strategy notes and briefing papers for senior partners and arguing counsel.
- Client Management: Act as primary point of contact for allocated matters—advise clients, record instructions, manage expectations and obtain approvals.
- Team Mentoring: Guide interns and junior associates on research tasks, filing procedures and best practices.
- Compliance & Deadlines: Monitor limitation periods, court fees, procedural compliances and maintain updated digital/physical case files.
Desired Profile
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 1–3 years of continuous litigation experience (district courts, tribunals or High Court).
- Active enrolment with any State Bar Council and Certificate of Practice.
- Proven drafting skills and courtroom confidence; strong command over English & Hindi.
- Sound knowledge of CPC, BNS, BNSS, CrPC, IPC, Evidence Act and key Commercial Statues.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritise deadlines and supervise junior team members.
