Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester (QA) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications by executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, track, and report bugs using defect management tools.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, and smoke testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before deployment.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Participate in requirement review meetings and provide quality-related feedback.
- Maintain testing documentation and prepare test execution reports.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and user expectations.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Manual Testing/Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in creating and executing test cases and test plans.
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and database testing.
- Understanding of automation testing concepts will be an added advantage.
