Our Enterprise Performance team helps organizations unlock value from enterprise platforms and digital technologies across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations. As a CFIN Functional Senior Consultant, you will work with strategic advisors, functional specialists, and technology professionals to support large-scale finance transformation programs and enterprise modernization efforts.
In this role, you will help clients design and implement SAP Central Finance (CFIN) solutions that improve financial processes, enhance visibility across the organization, and support more informed business decision-making. With Deloitte’s industry depth, process knowledge, and collaborative delivery approach, you will help organizations navigate complex transformation journeys and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
Level: Senior Consultant or equivalent
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead functional workstreams for SAP finance transformation projects by gathering requirements, conducting current-state and future-state process discussions, and supporting solution design aligned to client objectives.
- Translate business requirements into functional design documents, configuration specifications, test scenarios, and other project deliverables across SAP finance processes.
- Configure and support SAP solutions across finance areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, controlling, product costing, and asset accounting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, onsite, and offshore teams through all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Guide junior team members, manage assigned deliverables, and support issue resolution to help deliver high-quality, sustainable client solutions.

Shift Timings: 24x7 rotational shifts, including night shifts, based on business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 6-10 years of experience in SAP projects, finance transformation, or SAP finance support
- Experience with at least 1 SAP implementation, upgrade, or transformation project
- Experience with SAP finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, or financial supply chain management (FSCM)
- Experience with at least 2 of the following SAP areas: product costing, contract accounts receivable and payable (FICA), public sector collection and disbursement (PSCD), financial services collection and disbursement (FSCD), controlling-profitability analysis (COPA), or asset accounting
- Experience with cost center accounting, cost element accounting, internal orders, project systems, investment management, cash management, or treasury
- Experience facilitating blueprint workshops and translating business requirements into functional design or configuration documents
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Preferred:
- Experience implementing recent SAP releases in production environments
- Experience with New General Ledger and segment reporting
- SAP certification in a finance, controlling, or functional module
