Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with servers, storage, virtualization, backup solutions, Linux systems, and basic cloud technologies. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and customer support activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Center Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and storage hardware.
- Perform hardware health checks and preventive maintenance.
- Execute firmware and BIOS upgrades for servers, storage, and related infrastructure.
- Diagnose hardware failures and coordinate with OEM support teams.
Virtualization Technologies
- Manage and support virtualization environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Create, monitor, and maintain virtual machines.
- Assist in virtualization deployment, migration, and troubleshooting activities.
Backup & Recovery Solutions
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup solutions such as Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Dell EMC Networker, etc.
- Perform backup validation and recovery testing.
- Understand modern backup security concepts including Immutable Storage, WORM (Write Once Read Many), and Ransomware Protection.
Cloud Technologies
- Basic administration and support of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Assist in cloud resource monitoring and management.
- Support hybrid infrastructure deployments.
Linux Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems.
- Manage Linux file systems, storage allocation, and permissions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot OS-related issues.
Technical Support & Documentation
- Provide onsite and remote technical support.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and implementation records.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and OEM support teams.
- Follow IT service management processes and escalation procedures.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Server and Storage Hardware.
- Knowledge of firmware upgrades and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Experience with enterprise backup solutions.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and file systems.
- Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant IT Infrastructure experience.
- OEM certifications will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
