Roth Pets is a fast-growing pet care brand founded by veterinarians and focused on making pet hygiene simple, safe, and effective. Our range of vet-certified pet wipes is designed to provide convenient everyday care for dogs and cats.
As we continue to expand across India, we are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth by building relationships with pet clinics, veterinary hospitals, pet stores, distributors, groomers, and other strategic partners.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating sales, building partnerships, and expanding Roth Pets' presence across offline and online channels.
This role requires a combination of field sales, relationship management, strategic thinking, and execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and onboard new pet stores, veterinary clinics, hospitals, groomers, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Conduct regular field visits and client meetings.
- Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into customers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Channel Expansion
- Expand Roth Pets' presence across retail, veterinary, grooming, and distribution channels.
- Explore partnerships with pet boarding facilities, training centres, pet events, and related businesses.
- Identify new geographic markets and growth opportunities.
Key Account Management
- Maintain relationships with existing partners and drive repeat orders.
- Ensure partner satisfaction and address any concerns proactively.
- Monitor product placement and visibility at partner locations.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and new product launches.
- Gather market feedback from clinics, stores, and customers.
- Share insights and recommendations with management.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with logistics, inventory, marketing, and e-commerce teams.
- Coordinate order fulfilment and ensure smooth partner onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline status.
Skills & QualificationsRequired
- 2-5 years of experience in Business Development, Field Sales, Account Management, or Channel Sales.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with extensive field visits and client meetings.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently in a startup environment.
Preferred
- Experience in pet care, veterinary products, FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, or retail distribution.
- Existing network within veterinary clinics, pet stores, distributors, or related industries.
- Experience managing channel partners and distributors.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Santacruz, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

- English and Hindi (Preferred)
