Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented AGM – Service & Spares to oversee and manage service operations and spare parts business across dealership locations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving service revenue targets, improving customer satisfaction, ensuring process compliance, optimizing workshop productivity, and driving spare parts sales and profitability.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Operations
- Lead and monitor service operations across all assigned branches.
- Achieve monthly and annual service revenue targets.
- Improve workshop productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
- Ensure adherence to Bajaj Auto service standards and dealership SOPs.
- Monitor service KPIs including labor revenue, retention, repeat repairs, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular branch audits and process reviews.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Spares Management
- Drive spare parts sales and profitability across branches.
- Ensure optimum inventory management and stock availability.
- Monitor parts ordering, stock aging, and inventory turnover.
- Minimize stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Implement effective spare parts sales strategies and promotional activities.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and mentor Service Managers, Workshop Managers, and Spares teams.
- Conduct performance reviews and skill development programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present monthly business performance reports.
- Monitor branch-wise service and spares performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate with OEM representatives for service and spares-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
- MBA preferred.
- 8–12 years of experience in automobile service operations and spare parts management.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role within an automobile dealership.
- Strong knowledge of workshop operations, spare parts inventory management, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and dealership management systems.
