Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Student Admission Counsellor to join our Nursing College in Dunlop, Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in student admissions, counselling, and conversion of inquiries into enrollments. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and English and be capable of handling student and parent queries professionally.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Handle admission inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, social media, and other lead sources. Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, admission procedures, career opportunities, and fee structures. Guide applicants through the complete admission process from inquiry to enrollment. Follow up with prospective students to achieve admission targets. Maintain accurate records of inquiries, applications, admissions, and follow-up activities. Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to ensure a smooth admission process. Conduct campus tours and admission presentations when required. Address and resolve student and parent queries promptly and professionally. Support admission campaigns, seminars, educational fairs, and promotional activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in admission counselling or student recruitment within the education sector. Strong understanding of admission processes and student counselling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Bengali, Hindi, and English. Ability to build rapport with students and parents. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Good knowledge of MS Office, email communication, and CRM systems. Target-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve admission goals. Professional appearance and positive attitude.
