As a Resort Operation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of our resort facility, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing revenue and profitability. You will lead a team of staff members across various departments, including hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and recreation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering unparalleled hospitality services.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all aspects of resort operations, including front desk services, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and recreational activities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of services.
- Monitor daily operations, addressing any issues promptly to maintain the smooth functioning of the resort.
- Uphold high standards of customer service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor financial performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-control measures.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies to attract new guests and maximize revenue streams.
- Supervise resort staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of resort facilities and grounds.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a safe environment for guests and employees.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in resort management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry trends, best practices, and regulations.
- Certification in hospitality management or relevant professional affiliation is a plus.
