About the Role
MentorPlus is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right courses and career paths. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counselling skills, with a passion for helping learners achieve their educational and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, certifications, internships, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp messages, and other enquiries.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
- Convert qualified leads into successful admissions by providing accurate information and guidance.
- Maintain student records and update the CRM with lead and admission details.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission and onboarding experience.
- Achieve individual admission and counselling targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, education sales, admissions, customer support, or a related field. Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and counselling skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and eager to learn.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
