We are looking for a Specialist - Contract Management (Estimation), who thrives in a high performance and fast paced technical environment. As a Specialist within the Contract Management (Estimation) team, you will be responsible for performing all critical tasks, ensuring that our customer receives a great product.

Lead estimation, costing, and quotation activities for aerospace metallic components.

Analyse engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and GD&T to determine manufacturing requirements.

Assess manufacturability of aerospace metallic parts using CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and special processes.

Define manufacturing routings, cycle times, tooling requirements, and production methods.

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering machining, fabrication, assembly, heat treatment, anodizing, plating, coating, welding, and NDT processes.

Liaise with suppliers to obtain cost inputs, lead times, and special-process quotations.

Develop competitive pricing strategies, bid packages, and commercial proposals for customer RFQs.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, production, quality, and project teams to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.

Communicate with customers to clarify technical requirements and provide competitive quotations.

Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.

Support supplier audits and ensure adherence to contractual and quality requirements.

Maintain estimation data, costing records, and quotations within ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Prepare cost analysis reports, dashboards, budgets, and cost baselines for management and project reviews.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, schedule adherence, and cost variance.

Drive value engineering, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance estimation accuracy and profitability.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or a related discipline.

4+ years of experience in estimation and costing, with expertise in CNC machining and aerospace special processes.

Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and 5-axis machining.

Experience with aerospace special processes such as heat treatment, anodizing, plating, and NDT.

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicore).

Advanced analytical, costing, and Excel modelling skills.

Strong attention to detail with a quality and compliance-focused mindset.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven problem-solving ability and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Experience with additional ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and estimation database management.
