Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons, supporting students’ academic development, and creating a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly using appropriate teaching methods and learning resources.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, tests, and other learning materials.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students who need additional support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive, student-friendly environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress when required.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, examinations, school events, and other academic activities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics concepts and curriculum.
- Good communication, classroom-management, and interpersonal skills.
