Job Summary
Pallavi International School, Sagar Road, is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and result-oriented High School Chemistry Teacher to deliver rigorous, engaging, and concept-driven instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject expertise, laboratory excellence, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations, competitive assessments, and real-life scientific applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Instruction
- Plan and deliver structured Chemistry lessons for Grades 9–12 as per CBSE guidelines.
- Ensure strong conceptual understanding in core areas: Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, demonstrations, and practical-based learning with strict safety protocols.
- Develop analytical thinking, application-based learning, and problem-solving skills.
- Promote scientific inquiry, accuracy, and responsible laboratory practices.
Assessment & Academic Excellence
- Design worksheets, unit tests, practical assessments, internal assessments, and board-pattern question papers.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations, Olympiads, NTSE, JEE / NEET Foundation, and competitive exams.
- Analyze student performance data to provide targeted remedial and enrichment support.
- Maintain accurate records of practical files, internal marks, and academic documentation.
Curriculum Planning & Implementation
- Prepare annual academic plans, lesson plans, learning outcomes, and assessment blueprints.
- Implement competency-based education, NEP guidelines, and experiential learning strategies.
- Integrate digital tools, simulations, and smart classroom resources for effective teaching.
Student Development & Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, disciplined, and motivating classroom and laboratory environment.
- Mentor students for academic excellence, scientific curiosity, and career awareness.
- Encourage participation in science exhibitions, research projects, and competitions.
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and academic discussions.
- Collaborate with subject teams, coordinators, and school leadership.
- Participate actively in professional development programs and academic initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain lab inventory, chemical stock registers, safety compliance records, and documentation.
- Support examination duties, practical examinations, and school events.
- Adhere to institutional policies and academic timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Chemistry with B.Ed mandatory.
- Minimum 3–7 years of CBSE high school teaching experience preferred.
- Strong command over board exam patterns, practical assessments, and laboratory management.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classroom platforms.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational abilities.
