Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Wood Router Programmer & Operator to join our woodworking/furniture manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC wood router machines for cutting, carving, engraving, and nesting work on plywood, laminates, and solid wood.
Key Responsibilities
- Program and operate CNC wood router machines.
- Read and understand production drawings and design files.
- Prepare CNC programs using software such as ArtCAM, or AutoCAD.
- Perform cutting, carving, engraving, nesting, and panel processing work.
- Inspect finished products and maintain production standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Coordinate with design and production teams.
- Reduce material wastage and improve production efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience operating CNC wood router machines.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials like MDF, plywood, laminates, and solid wood.
- Experience in CAD/CAM software preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and dimensions.
- Knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds.
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum: ITI/Diploma or relevant experience preferred.
