Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer with a background in engineering products . This role involves identifying and meeting customer needs, providing technical support, and driving sales growth for our products within the engineering and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales track record, technical expertise in components and systems, and an aptitude for solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Drive sales efforts for engineering products (e.g., tube fittings, valves, and connectors) by identifying prospective customers and managing client accounts.
- Technical Expertise and Product Support: Understand the technical specifications of our product line and assist customers with product selection, technical inquiries, and troubleshooting.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and provide high-quality service and support, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to develop sales strategies, and identify new opportunities for market penetration.
- Sales Targets and Reporting: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Prepare and present regular sales and activity reports, including forecasts and market analysis.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of technical sales experience, ideally with a background in engineering products like fittings, valves, and similar components.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of product applications, particularly in tube fittings, instrumentation, and fluid systems.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales within an industrial or technical product environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical details and build rapport with clients.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel as required.
